The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead holds monthly meetings that are open to all residents. Each meeting is divided into three categories: Public Hearing Calendar, Decision Calendar and Administrative Calendar. Meetings will be held on Oct. 5, Nov. 9, and Dec. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Town Hall.
Residents of the Town of Hempstead and all citizens are allowed to participate in helping to form government policy and law in the Town of Hempstead. At the conclusion of each meeting, the Hempstead Town Board remains seated so that individuals may express their concerns to the board. Residents unable to attend a meeting may submit their concerns in writing to their supervisor or council member at Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington St, Hempstead, NY 11550.
