For the past six years, Joe and Kathy Gargiulo of Westbury have hosted a festive Christmas party in conjunction with Toys of Hope, an organization that donates toys and gifts to children and their families. Founded in 1994 by Melissa Doktofsky, a young woman who wanted to give to others, Toys of Hope has no employees, only volunteers, so 100% of the donations go straight to charity.
