DA's Door-to-Door Campaign Makes Stops in East Meadow

Kathleen Rice spoke with residents of Blackstone Avenue, Central Drive, Karen Lane, Meadow Lane and Midland Drive this past weekend.

Kathleen Rice, who is seeking a third term as Nassau County District Attorney, took her door-to-door campaign to East Meadow this past weekend, speaking with local residents about issues in the neighborhood.

Rice made stops on Blackstone Avenue, Central Drive, Karen Lane, Meadow Lane and Midland Drive.

“We use all the high-tech tools and innovative strategies available, but I’ve always found that no information-gathering technique beats pounding the pavement and talking to a family about what they see in their neighborhood every day," Rice said. "I am out here to listen and to share with them, but I also do this so that they can hold me personally accountable. I work for them.”
