East Meadow Woman Killed
Police: Elderly woman struck by car in Massapequa late Friday.

An East Meadow woman was struck by a car and killed on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa Friday night, Nassau County Police said.
Police said the victim, Grace Rinaldi, 75, was walking in the eastbound lane of the highway when she was hit by a Honda Accord at 9:30 p.m.
She was pronounced dead about 45 minutes later.
Police said there was no criminality at this time. Brake and safety checks were conducted on the car.
