East Meadow Bank Manager Presents Check to LICM

Astoria Federal Savings recently donated $10,000 to the Long Island Children's Museum.

Astoria Federal Savings has donated $10,000 to the Long Island Children’s Museum, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing hands-on experience to visitors of all ages.

The contribution supports the museum's “Broken? Fix it!” exhibit, which invites families to diagnose breaks then roll-up their sleeves and get inside the repair process.

Peter Sirakowski, Astoria Federal East Meadow branch manager and vice president of the banking division for Astoria, presented the check to Suzanne LeBlanc, president of the Long Island Children’s Museum, during a recent visit to the exhibit.
