Free Flu Shots at the Library Friday

Residents aged 60 and over and their spouses are eligible to participate.

Free flu shots will be offered to Nassau County residents aged 60 and over and their spouses at the East Meadow Public Library Nov. 1.

Assemblyman Tom McKevitt (R,C,I-East Meadow), in conjunction with the library and Nassau University Medical Center, is hosting the program.

Residents will receive the shots via appointment on a first come, first served basis between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

“An annual flu shot is an important part of keeping healthy,” McKevitt said. “I hope residents will take advantage of this free event to stay in good health this fall.”

The East Meadow Public Library is located at 1886 Front St. in East Meadow.

To make an appointment call Assemblyman McKevitt’s district office at 228-4960 or email mckevitt@assembly.state.ny.us.
