Free Outdoor Summer Movie Nights at Eisenhower

Starts tonight with showing of Hotel Transylvania.

Nassau County will again present movies on the giant screen at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre this summer, beginning tonight.

Hotel Transylvania, which is rated PG, will be shown at sunset (8:26 p.m.) The movie is 91 minutes in length.

The future showtime schedule is as follows:

  • July 18: ParaNorman – PG (92 min.) – sunset 8:23 p.m.
  • July 25: Madagascar 3 – PG (93 min.) – sunset 8:17 p.m.
  • August 1: Ice Age: Continental Drift – PG (93 min.) – sunset 8:10 p.m.
  • August 8: Rise of the Guardians – PG (97 min.) – sunset 8:02 p.m.
  • August 15: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days – PG (94 min.) – sunset 7:53 p.m.
  • August 22: Parental Guidance – PG (105 min.) – sunset 7:43 p.m.
The Lakeside Theatre Family Movie Night Series is presented by the Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation and Museums. Through a sponsorship from Mattone Group, LLC, there are a total of seven Family Movie Nights presented on the giant screen at Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Theatre, free of charge.
