The scouts bought 160 movie tickets for girls who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The East Meadow Girl Scouts will host a Hurricane Relief Movie Event for Long Beach Girl Scouts on Saturday.
The girls bought 160 movie tickets for Long Beach troops and their leaders to enjoy a day out.
The idea for the event came about when the scouts asked children of Long Beach what they needed and they said a day of "normalcy."
The troops will meet at Loews Roosevelt Field Raceway Theatre, which will accommodate only Girl Scouts for the day.
