Six Ways to Celebrate Halloween in East Meadow

Spider cookies, costume night, a haunted house and more.

Haunted House and Family Fun Fair: Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano presents a haunted house and family fun fair at Eisenhower Park's Parking Field 8 in East Meadow. A Zombie Maze, hay rides, carnival games, balloon twisting, face painting and more will be offered. The haunted house and family fun fair is slated to open this holiday weekend, Oct. 11-13, and will also be open Oct. 18-20 and Oct. 25-30. Hours are 6:30-10:30 p.m.; 4-11 p.m. Saturdays. Call 572-0200 for more info.

Halloween Party at The Nest: On Saturday, Oct. 26, The Nest Bar & Lounge is hosting a Halloween party. DJ, drink specials and cash prize for best costume.

Halloween Party at Party Peeps
: Have a ghoulish fun time at Party Peeps in East Meadow Nov. 1, 6-8 p.m. There will be music, dancing, Karaoke, pizza and drinks for kids ages 6-10. Party guests should wear their Halloween costumes. Party Peeps is located at 212 East Meadow Avenue. Cost: $10.00 per child. Please RSVP by Oct. 20, at 721-0675.

Chocolate Witches: Paint a 3D chocolate witch and mold it with milk/dark chocolate at the East Meadow Public Library Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. There is a $2 materials fee. Registration began Oct. 3. Click here for more info. 

Spider Cookies and Mummy Candy Holders: Get into the Halloween spirit by making a mummy candy holder and spooky spider cookies a the East Meadow Public Library Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. There is a $1 materials fee. Registration began Oct. 2. Click here for more info.

Costume Night: Come in costume and celebrate Halloween early at the East Meadow Public Library Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. Special treats and fun are on tap.
