Richard Murdocco has recieved his BA in both Politicial Science and Urban Studies from Fordham University, and his Masters in Public Policy from SUNY Stony Brook. At Stony Brook, Murdocco studied regional and environmental planning under Dr. Lee Koppelman, Long Island's veteran planner. Murdocco's writing on land use and development policy has been published in Newsday, various local newspapers and on Patch.com. Murdocco is a contributor to former Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi's NYMuniBlog, a blog that was created as a public service to foster discussion of important issues facing New York state municipalities and quasi-governmental agencies.
Murdocco lives in Setauket.
