Kim Plummer, Neighbor

Kim Plummer is a life-long East Meadow resident. She is a recent graduate from the State University of New York at New Paltz, with a dual-degree in journalism and digital media production. She looks forward to reporting on the local issues of her town, while being able to incorporate her own photography and videography as important supplements to her stories.

In the past she has freelanced for New York House magazine. She has also been aired on WAMC's Midday Magazine, and her work as a documentary filmmaker was nationally recognized by the Broadcast Educator's Association in 2010. The documentary, "Patchwork," has since been contracted and distributed online through IndiePix.
