East Meadow Library has always been a very special place. I do believe it's the heart of our…Read More community. Anything you need to know can be found there. If you need help with research or want to how to upgrade your skills the staff is so helpful. As far as books, discs, playaway audio books, just check out the shelves. If you don't find what you're looking for, just ask.
The icing on the cake (birthday cake? as our library celebrates it's birthday this month!) is the wonderful encouragement given to local artists, writers and photographers. The East Meadow community should be very proud to have all this talent in its midst!
I'm looking forward to this Sunday's Juried Art Presentation - as I always do. All the more so to be there to congratulate my daughter, Katherine, for winning the Best In Show. Please come down and enjoy the lovely musical presentation and the refreshments. Congratulations and gratitude to all the staff at our East Meadow Library for making it such a welcoming community center. Happy Birthday to our Library!

This is very sad. So many of the young men and women who come home are not properly cared for. It…Read More doesn't matter if their disability is physical or mental.
