Eisenhower Park

100% Were impressed
Eisenhower Park has been one of the most prominent features in East Meadow since it was dedicated in honor of President Dwight D. Eisenhower in October of 1969. Prior to that, the property was a part of the Salisbury Country Club, and was home to Walter Hagen's 1926 PGA Tour Championship at Salisbury. Today, the park has become a focal point for recreation. With many ball fields, a state of the art Nassau County Aquatic Center, and concerts galore at Lakeside Theatre, it's hardly difficult to find something to do at Eisenhower Park.
