Bellmore Street Fair, Walk to Defeat ALS, Craft Fair This Weekend

Bellmore Street Fair

  • Carnival- Thursday and Friday, 6 p.m. to closing
  • Street Fair and Carnival- Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Music, animals, activities and more. 
Walk to Defeat ALS
  • Long Island Walk is Largest Walk to Defeat ALS in the Country with Over 4,500 Participants Last Year
  • The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter will host the 13th Annual Walk to Defeat ALS fundraiser on Long Island on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Eisenhower Park.
  • The Walk is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Before and after the walk, there will be family friendly activities such as guest stars, autograph signing by sports celebrities, face painting, Kids Zone, live music, mascots, refreshments, and other fun and games.
Annual Fall Craft Fair at Good Shephard Lutheran Church in Levittown
  • Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m.
  • Come join the fun at our annual fall craft fair. Vendors needed plenty of spaces still available. There will be food and beverages, pony rides, granny's attic and much much more.

Meadowbrook Elementary Fall Festival
  • Saturday, Sept. 21 at 11 a.m.
  • Annual Fall Festival and Craft Fair. Activities include scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating , sand art and face painting. 
  • Variety of items available for purchase.
One Small Step for Ella
  • Come and enjoy a day out at Tanner Park in Copiague to benefit Prader-Willi Syndrome.
  • Activities include a 5k, Kid’s Run (all kid’s run participants get a medal!), carnival games, bounce house, DJ, Live band, giveaways, refreshments, raffles, prizes,face painting, balloon animals, and MORE! 
  • The funbegins at 9 a.m. on Sept. 21! 
The Ashley Wade Foundation Second Annual Fundraiser
  • Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Join us for a fun night filled with dinner, dancing, dessert and raffles! The mission of The Ashley Wade Foundation is to enrich the lives of children affected by chronic illnesses by providing them with care packages, toys, and games.  
  • Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children. To purchase tickets, email us at ashleywadefoundation@live.com.
The Long Island Fair
  • This family-friendly festival offers a range of attractions, including exotic animals, prize-winning livestock, pony and carnival rides, as well as traditional live music.  
  • There are fun-filled contests for kids and adults. Livestock demonstrations feature miniature horses and beautiful horse-drawn carriages. 
  • Enjoy a variety of entertainers, including a puppet show, jugglers, a magician, and old-time baseball matches.
DogFest Walk N' Roll Benefiting Canines Companions for Independence
  • Saturday, Sept. 21 at 11 a.m.
  • Grab a leash and be part of Canine  Companions DogFest Walk 'n Roll! It's a community dog walk that supports the mission of Canine Companions for Independence. 
  • Register just yourself, or put  together a group of friends, family members or coworkers and walk as a team.
