Andrea Rebello Fundraiser, Pet Expo, Rally Day This Weekend

Fundraiser for Andrea Rebello

  • On Sept. 14, the Beach Bums of East Meadow, Levittown, and Merrick locations will be holding a free tan day. 
  • Donations will be collected on behalf of Andrea Rebello from Hofstra. They will be used towards a scholarship fund in her name and towards future charity work to preserve safety of students living off campus. 
  • Please show your support! 
Long Island Pet Expo in the Park
  • The Long Island Pet Expo in the Park will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15 in conjunction with the Long Island Family Festival at Tanner Park in Copiague. 
  • The Pet Expo in the Park will be open Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • As part of the Long Island Family Festival, families and attendees can also enjoy fun filled events, live music, first class carnival and other activities held during the weekend.
Rally Day Festival at the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown
  • Please join us for the Rally Day Festival at the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 12-3 p.m. 
  • Admission is free, and magic shows are at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. There will be clowns, balloon animals, a DJ, karaoke, prizes, relay races, food and more.
  • Spend the afternoon with us. We hope to see you there.
Seaford United Methodist Church Rally Day
  • An afternoon of free food, bounce house, face painting, snow cones, cotton candy, music, games, races and prizes! 
  • Everything is free!
  • Sunday, Sept. 15 from 12-3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Seaford United Methodist Church.
Division High School Cheerleaders Car Wash
  • Sept. 15 at 10 a.m.
  • Bring your vehicle(s) to the Getty Gas Station and get it washed by the Varsity Cheerleaders.  
  • There will also be a bake sale - bring your sweet tooth.  All donations welcome - All funds raised go towards helping the girls get to Florida for the National Competition.
Carnival and Show for the Whole Family
  • Join us for an exciting event for the whole family! The Stone Hebrew School of the Jewish Heritage Center invites the Long Island Jewish community to a free carnival and show. 
  • There will be fun rides for children of all ages, a high flying trampoline show by the Sky Riders, Jewish Holiday booths and much more.

Night at the Races
  • Please join Ladder Two on Saturday, Sept. 14 for a memorable night of action-packed, heart pounding, premier off track horse racing.  
  • Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the first race starts at 8:30 p.m.

Two Guys and a Gal in Concert
  • Sept. 15 at 2 p.m.
  • Spend an afternoon with Two Guys and a Gal.  Mike, Les, and Sara will sing Broadway tunes to soothe the soul.
  • Having worked extensively as musical theatre performers, their review includes works by great composers such as Rogers and Hammerstein, and Lerner and Lowe, as well as artists including Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin and Tony Bennett.
Long Island Roller Rebels Rummage Sale
  • That's right! The Long Island Roller Rebel Roller Derby Girls are having a Yard Sale Fundraiser for our pro female sports league. 
  • Shop for cool finds, great clothes,  kids stuff, clothes, books, household items, antique and near new items! You never know what you could find!  
  • As well as the best baked goods and lemonade ever!
