Flu Shot Registration Begins: Flu shot registration for seniors begins Monday at 9 a.m. for a Nov. 1 program sponsored by Assemblyman Tom McKevitt. Register Tuesday and Wednesday too, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Call Ms. Fosso in Community Services at 794-2570 x 216 for openings and/or information. Please bring your Medicare or insurance card on the day of your shot.

Simple Cooking: Learn how to make Tomato & Mozzarella Focaccia Bread Pizza Monday at 7 p.m. at the East Meadow Public Library. (And mark your calendar for Pumpkin Pie on a Stick Nov. 4.)
