Fall Festival, Ribbon Cutting, Sukkot Dinner This Week

Ribbon Cuttings: The East Meadow Chamber of Commerce will hold ribbon cuttings at two local businesses on Tuesday - Dr. Munchies located at 355 Newbridge Rd. at 1 p.m. and The Nest Bar & Lounge located at 382 East Meadow Ave. at 1:30 p.m.

Meadowbrook Elementary Fall Festival: The annual fall festival and craft fair will be held Saturday, Sept. 21, beginning at 11 a.m. Activities include scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating, sand art and face painting. A variety of items will be available for purchase. Click here for details.

Library Resources Review Class: Learn about the services and resources the East Meadow Public Library has to offer during a review class Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. Learn how to use and access databases, online catalog and online tutoring services in the library and from your home. Registration began Sept. 5. Call 794-2570 to sign up.
