Light Snow Could Affect Morning Commute

Less than a half-inch of snow may affect roadways between 4 and 10 a.m. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

As a cold front pushes through the tri-state area, residents will likely awake Tuesday to light snow, possibly mixed with rain after 9 a.m. according to the National Weather Service.

A freeze watch will be in effect for Long Island 10 p.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Wednesday as temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper 20s.

Sun is expected Wednesday with a high near 40 degrees.
