Whiz Kid: James Egan Honored for Eagle Scout Work

Egan featured a going green campaign.

Legis. Norma L. Gonsalves, R-East Meadow, attended Troop 362 Eagle Court of Honor for James Egan at the Headquarters.

Egan is a resident of East Meadow. Gonsalves presented a Nassau County Legislative Citation to Eagle Scout Egan in recognition of the hard work he did for his Eagle Project. James’ final project was to make four mini movies about recycling, going “green” and helping the
environment.

The segments were, “Going Green in the Home, “Going Green in School,” “Going Green in the Workplace,” and “Going Green in the Outdoors.” The four mini movies were shown together creating, “Going Green in East Meadow.” Each movie demonstrated to young students how to “Go Green” in their daily routines.

After the films were recorded and edited, they were presented with powerpoint review to the students at in East Meadow.
