The East Meadow Soccer Club teamed with Island Harvest to collect food for those in need.
The East Meadow Soccer Club and Island Harvest teamed up Sunday to help raise awareness for those in need at , all while kids of various age groups competed in soccer competition.
All in all, representatives of Island Harvest were blown away by the generosity of the local residents.
"This is so fantastic," Island Harvest Captain Margie Corradina said. "We may have to bring a second truck."
