The staff recently participated in the hospital's Kiwanis Back-to-School Program, which donates school supplies to needy pediatric patients.
Items such as notebooks, pens, crayons and back-packs were collected.
The supplies will be given out to the children within the next two weeks, right in time for the opening of schools, hospital officials said.
