Last Chance: Become a LI Lizard Ball Boy

Tryouts are taking place on April 21 in East Meadow.

Some of the Long Island Lizards Professional Outdoor Lacrosse Team’s game day staff will be holding official open tryouts for candidates as regular game ball boys on April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of .

Registration begins at 9 a.m. Meet in the picnic area near baseball field #1. The tryout is free. Boys from East Meadow and all over Long Island wishing to be considered for the position as a regular volunteer ball boy should show up accompanied with an adult in order to be considered for the position.

Tryouts will consist of some important skill drills as well as other tasks. Being a regular ball boy is hard work. Boys that eventually get chosen get to spend  some serious time with the Lizards' players, coaches and staff. You must be able to make Lizard home practices on Thursday nights as well as most, if not all, of their home games at James M. Shuart Stadium at Hofstra University (4/28, 6/1, 6/23, 7/7, 7/14,7/21 and 7/28).

If can get in and out without a problem I would not. I would rather ask them to move their carRead More back. It's not worth making a life long enemy.
