NUMC Donates Supplies To Haiti Orphanage

Band-Aids and Tylenol headed to the needy.

The Nassau University Medical Center donated several supplies to a children's orphanage in Haiti, including Band-Aids, Tylenol, Bacitracin ointment, baby formula and other nutritional products.

Shelley Lotenberg, the director of public affairs at Nassau University Medical Center, was happy to have the hospital to be part of the cause.

"We are delighted to partner with Bishop Harris and the Grace Cathedral Church in their efforts to assist the people of Haiti," Lotenberg said. "Especially some of their most vulnerable children in orphanages, by providing them with the requested donations of medications, Band Aids, baby formula and nutritional supplements. "
