.... Each year for the last 34 years, a hurricane being the only exception, The East Meadow Soccer Club, holds it's annual summer tournament, this year sponsored by Modell's. On the weekend of August 24th thru 26th, the Club will play host to over 400 teams, many from our local area, but also Tri State teams and from as far away as Canada. Each year the club endeavors to make the event just a little better than the last. This year’s tournament , a ten month planning effort, will once again be directed by Steven Epstein, who along with Club President Eric Schwartz, will present a Scholarship, to a Committee chosen outstanding player, both a boy and girl, after the High School Final. Preceding the Final Sunday Modell's HS Championship Games, The Club takes pride in presenting some very special talent.
On the Stadium Turf at Mitchel Athletic Complex, Robbie Rosen, of American Idol will performing God Bless America. Professional Voice of Mark Morris performing the National Anthem Both of these exciting high level games featuring our local players is open to everyone. This is a wonderful early Sunday evening family event and It is FREE!! Bring the kids and their friends and enjoy this neighborhood annual soccer event.
