East Meadow Fourth of July Fireworks Guide 2013

Details: 
The fireworks, presented by the world-famous Grucci family, are part of a night in Eisenhower Park which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with Dean Karahalis and the Concert Pops, followed by Somethin’s Fresh, the best 80s R&B, Dance and Funk Classic band on Long Island. The theatre area gates will open at 5 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at nightfall (approx. 9:30 p.m.). Tickets are required for admission to the theatre area and are available, free of charge, at any TD Bank on Long Island, while supplies last. There is no formal seating; visitors should bring blankets or chairs. Space is limited and overflow will be directed to other viewing and parking areas.

Time: July 5, 8 p.m.
Location: Jackson Avenue and Marcellus Road, Mineola, NY
Details: Concert in the Park at 8 p.m. in Mineola Memorial Park featuring the Nassau Pops, fireworks to begin immediately after.

Host: Mansfield Park
Time: July 3, 9 p.m.
Location: Lake Shore Drive and Walker Street, Massapequa Park, NY
Details: Annual fireworks show and music performance in Village of Massapequa Park.

Host: Mill River Park
Time: July 13, 6 p.m.
Location: Merton Avenue and Chester Road, Rockville Centre, NY
Details: Food, music and Grucci Fireworks. (Rain date Sunday July 14). Entertainment and food begin at 6 p.m.. The South Shore Symphony will perform at 7:45 p.m. and the world famous Grucci Fireworks Show will begin at 9:15 p.m. There will be music after the fireworks until 10:15 p.m.

The Hempstead Town Annual Independence Salute with Buckwheat Zydeco, with Bay Fireworks and a Salute to Veterans. Boogie the evening away with Louisiana accordion and keyboard artist Buckwheat Zydeco. The world's best-loved zydeco artist, Creole music legend Stanley ‘Buckwheat’ Dural and his band are sure to deliver a rocking and stomping good time.
