Talk about wrestling your way to the top.
That's been the story for East Meadow resident Tom Rispoli, who was recently named the SUNY Brockport male scholar athlete of the year.
Rispoli compiled a 27-6 record during his junior year at Brockport, including a 15-1 mark against fellow Division III wrestlers.
The Physical education major also carries a 3.98 GPA, and he was honored as a Scholar All-American, according to the National Wrestling Coaches' Association.
