The New York Islanders are scheduled to hold a dinner and auction at the New Hyde Park Inn on March 12, with proceeds from the event benefitting the Islanders Children's Foundation.
Fans are asked to bid for a seat at the Islanders player table of their choice. Each winner is invited to bring one guest to the Sticks and Steaks dinner.
Each player table will seat 10, including the four winners and their guests. All bids must be in by March 6.
How much could it cost? Well, the bidding to eat and sit at a table with John Tavares is at $650. Other player tables run between $450 and $550.
