One week after a tough loss against Massapequa, the East Meadow High School football team topped Valley Stream Central 49-26.
Nick Suchocki carried nine times for a career-high 236 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Jets on offense. Adam Arbuse threw only one pass for East Meadow, and it was a 51-yard touchdown to Joe Forrler.
Brian Kavanagh had two interceptions on defense for East Meadow.
Nick Conti added 176 yards rushing, and Bobby Bender, Jonny Keicher and John Wilson all had rushing touchdowns.
