Matthew Gallo Contributes to Muhlenberg Lacrosse

Sophomore Matthew Gallo, an East Meadow native, was a big contributer to the Muhlenberg College men’s lacrosse team in 2012.

Gallo appeared in nine games for the Mules. He picked up his first career point on an assist against top-10 Stevens and then added another helper in the next game against St. Mary’s.

Playing against the 10th toughest schedule in the country, Muhlenberg finished the season 2-12, including six losses by three goals or less. One of the Mules’ two wins was a 9-5 victory over Montclair State, which went on to win its conference championship and qualify for the NCAA Tournament, one of nine Mule opponents that played in the postseason.
