Ken Sicoli Selected to Coach During Grand Slam Challenge

The East Meadow High School coach will lead the best of Nassau County.

Baseball Coach Ken Sicoli has been selected to lead the Nassau County team in this year's RTC Rawlings Grand Slam Challenge.

The game, which pins the best in Nassau against the top players in Suffolk, will take place at Farmingdale State College Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m.

Suffolk County, which will be coached by Patchogue-Medford's Anthony Frascogna, leads the all-time series, 5-1.

This year some of Suffolk's top players will be Duke-bound Remy Janco from Hills West, Cameron Sorgie from Floyd, and Lindenhurst's Stephen Skon.

For Nassau, Kevin Monahan from MacArthur, Jim Bulva from Mineola and Eric Truss from Chaminade are just a few of the best that will be taking the field. Division's Sean Abbate, who was stellar in the playoffs against Clarke, will be part of the game as well.
