Jets, Rams Ready to Make Playoff Push

After a tough grind during the season, the football playoffs are here, and East Meadow and Clarke High Schools will be in action this weekend.

After a 4-4 season, Clarke visits Seaford (6-2) Friday at 7 p.m. East Meadow (4-4) visits Massapequa (6-2) at 1:30 p.m. Saturday

They’re not the only teams that will be in action. Here’s a look at the playoff match-ups around Nassau County.

Conference I

• Friday: Valley Stream Central at Farmingdale- 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Freeport at Syosset- 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Baldwin at Oceanside- 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday: East Meadow at Massapequa- 1:30 p.m.

Note: The semifinals will be held on Nov. 16 at Hofstra University, and the finals will be held on Nov. 23 at Hofstra University as well.

Conference II

• Friday: MacArthur at Long Beach- 7 p.m.
• Saturday: South Side at Carey- 12:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Mepham at Garden City- 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Elmont at Wantagh- 1:30 p.m.

Note: The semifinals will be held on Nov. 15 at Hofstra University, and the finals will be held on Nov. 22 at Hofstra University as well.

Conference III

• Saturday: Hewlett at Plainedge- 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Glen Cove at Bethpage- 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Sewanhaka at Lawrence- 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Floral Park at Lynbrook- 1:30 p.m.

Note: The semifinals will be held on Nov. 16 at Hofstra University, and the finals will be held on Nov. 23 at Hofstra University as well.

Conference IV

• Friday: Clarke at Seaford- 7 p.m.
• Saturday: North Shore at Roosevelt- 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Valley Stream North at Locust Valley- 1:30 p.m.
• Saturday: Mineola at West Hempstead- 1:30 p.m.

Note: The semifinals will be held on Nov. 14 at Hofstra University, and the finals will be held on Nov. 21 at Hofstra University as well.
