Santa Returns to Christopher Morley Park to Ice Skate with Children

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano announces that Santa will appear on Dec. 11 from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. at Christopher Morley Park in Roslyn, NY to ice skate with children. The park is located on Searingtown Road, exit 36 north of the Long Island Expressway.

Santa will actually be lacing up his skates and joining children on the ice. He will pose for pictures and listen to kids' holiday wish lists. The skating rink is providing hot chocolate and cookies. Boy Scouts will be collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program if parents wish to donate a new toy.

Group and private skating lessons are available, as well as ice charters for groups, hockey games and private rentals. Patrons may also rent skates. Skating fees range from $4 to $14, depending upon age of the patron, if patron is a Leisure Pass holder and/or a county resident. For more information about the ice skating rink, call 516-571-8123.
