The Nassau Hiking and Outdoor Club (NHOC) is pleased to announce that Dennis Fleury from the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons (WRC) will be a guest speaker at their upcoming club meeting. The WRC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of animals impacted by the encroachment of humans on their habitat. Dennis will speak about the WRC programs and bring several rescued animals with him. The NHOC has over 400 members from all walks of life who share an appreciation for the outdoors. They host several such lectures throughout the year in addtion to over 100 outdoor events for their members year round. Guests are always welcome to attend these lectures. Those interested in membership are also welcome to attend one of the club's outdoor events.
