Anime Movie Club at EMPL
Due to the wide interest in anime, East Meadow Public Library is beginning a new anime series meeting once a month. Kelly Gordon, anime artist, will lead the sessions, which will include films, anime episodes and discussions. Everyone is welcome to this free program; suitable for ages.
On Jan. 19 at 7 p.m., the Anime Movie Club presents "Final Fantasy VII," the first in the new anime series. An ex-mercenary is forced out of isolation when three mysterious men kidnap and brainwash the city's children afflicted with an awful disease.
