East Meadow Softball Final Postponed Until Tuesday

Inclement weather forced officials to delay the start of the series.

With the softball team heading into the Nassau County Class AA Championship against MacArthur, the girls will have to wait another day, as game one in the best-of-three series was postponed until Tuesday due to the excessive rain.

According to East Meadow High School Athletic Director Kevin Regan, the three games will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (if necessary), all at 4 p.m. at the Mitchel Athletic Complex.

In the two previous match-ups this season between the two teams, MacArthur prevailed on March 28 and April 24, with 10-8 and 3-1 victories, respectively.
