East Meadow Girls Soccer to Play at Hofstra Tonight

The East Meadow High School girls varsity soccer team will face Oceanside today at 4 p.m. at Hofstra University.

Friday kicks off the university's fall festival weekend. The Hofstra men's and women's soccer teams both host games at home this weekend. The first game takes place Friday night as women's soccer takes on CAA conference rival, UNCW, at 7 p.m.

One ticket will get you into both matches. To purchase tickets, call the Hofstra Athletics Ticket Office at 516-HOF-TIXX.

It's "Think Pink Night" and all fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game for breast cancer awareness. The Hofstra Bounce House will be set-up at the game and there will be free face painting as well as an autograph session after the game.

On Saturday, the Hofstra men's soccer team will face UNH at 2 p.m. The Hofstra Bounce House will be set-up at the game and free face painting will be offered again. On Sunday, the Hofstra women's team takes on the College of Charleston at noon. Hofstra Athletics is hosting a "Run With Pride" 5K run/walk prior to Saturday's game.
