Woodland Students Inducted Into National Junior Honor Society

One hundred and seventy two students were honored.

One hundred and seventy two Woodland Middle School students were recently inducted into the National Junior Honor Society during a candle lighting ceremony at the school, according to the East Meadow School District.

Principal James Lethbridge thanked the parents for contributing to their children’s education. To the inductees, he gave the advice to “take small steps every day to accomplish your goals, and respect each other’s dreams and goals.”

The inductees were called to the stage to receive a certificate, a National Junior Honor Society pin and a carnation to symbolize their membership in the prestigious society.
