Woodland Receives $1,000 Donation From Bob's Furniture

The business randomly selects seven schools to donate to each month.

Woodland Middle School recently received a $1,000 donation from Bob's Discount Furniture. The business donated funds to seven schools in New York in support of arts and education programs.

“Our monthly school donations are a great way for us to show our appreciation to the communities that support our stores,” Cathy Poulin, public relations director of Bob’s Discount Furniture said. “We hope the funds will help these New York schools add to education and arts programs for the students.”

Every month, Bob’s randomly selects seven schools in the communities near its stores and makes a donation of $1,000.

Previous recipients have used the donations for such things as purchasing new art and classroom supplies, funding student activity groups and going on field trips.
