Voter's Guide: East Meadow School Budget, Board Elections

What you need to know for Tuesday's budget vote and school board election.

East Meadow residents will vote on the district's $191,128,156 budget for the 2014-15 school year Tuesday.

The proposal calls for a 1.53 percent budget-to-budget increase from last year and a 1.89 percent tax levy increase. Get a full rundown of budget information and line-by-line budget rundown on the district website here.

Incumbent Joseph Danenza is running unopposed while incumbent Corey Fanelli and Scott Eckers are vying for seats on the Board of Education.

Voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Barnum Woods, Bowling Green, George McVey, Meadowbrook, and Parkway elementary schools.
