View Finder: Running with the Rams 2012

The streets were packed for the annual 5K at and around W.T. Clarke High School.

With numbers plastered across their chests, members of the student body, teachers, faculty and friends participated in the fourth annual Run with the Rams at Saturday.

The main draw of the day was a 5K, in which roads were blocked off and people ran, at whatever speed they preferred, for a good cause. Others stood on the side of the road and cheered on participants as they passed by.

The finish line was located at the rear of the school near the football field, and people were given their times there. Also available in the vicinity was food, drinks and music that was provided by a DJ.

The money raised at the event goes to Clarke Athletics, although a percentage will be given to a family in need, as was the case in 2011.
