It was a very busy year in the East Meadow School District.

No. 6 — East Meadow High School Goes Mobile

For Christian Turkoanje, using the computer has felt natural since he was a kid.

No. 5 — Woodland Singer Makes TV Appearance

One student recently made his television debut.

Jack Megale, 13, appeared on the public access show "Talent Showcase," which aired on Cablevision's channel 20 Sunday. He shared his vocal talent along with his piano playing skills. For the full story, check out the link above.

No. 4 — Whiz Kids: East Meadow College Students Auction Off Bras for Breast Cancer

Some of East Meadow's own are putting their bras on the auction table.

On Tuesday, March, 15, Adelphi University auctioned off bras from the "Creative Cups" program. The program gives students the opportunity to take a bra and make it into a work of art. For the full story, click the link above.

No. 3 — Reunion for a Cause: Two Former EMHS Students Reconnect to Create New Book

What started out as a simple book idea for one alumnus turned into something much more.

Sharon Sultan, a graduate from the class of 1965, had the idea to pen a book about her time spent at East Meadow High School. The first step was to reconnect with old classmates, and Sultan decided to initiate the process through Facebook. For the full story, click above.

For Steve Sangirardi, the will to keep on writing is still strong.

No. 1 — Hundreds Gather To Remember Their Lost Friend

Many students from gathered at the intersection of Salisbury Road and Bowling Green Drive, which is where the that took the life of fellow student Francesco Posillico on Tuesday evening.
