Registration for the East Meadow School District's Pre-Kindergarten program begins this week, according to a notice on the district's website.
Children who will be 5 years old by Dec. 1, 2014 and are eligible to be enrolled in kindergarten in September 2014 can register for the program, which intends to acquaint children and parents with their new school.
All registrations will take place between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. at the Leon J. Campo Salisbury Center Registrar’s Office, 718 The Plain Road, Westbury, on the following dates, according to your child’s home school:
- McVey: Jan. 9-10
- Barnum Woods: Jan. 13-14
- Parkway: Jan. 15-16
- Meadowbrook: Jan. 21-22
- Bowling Green: Jan. 23-24
The district is offering 24 one and one-half hour sessions to be held twice weekly Feb. 3 through May 15.
Please have proof of residency and eligibility documents, along your child's immunization records, with you when registering.
