Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray and Councilman Gary Hudes recently presented an official Town of Hempstead citation to Parkway PTA members in fitting recognition of the Parkway Elementary School Festival in East Meadow.
PTA members Christine Floody, Stacey Surless, Stacey Schwartz and Lisa Mann; PTA co-presidents Ivy Minsky and Kris Salerno; Ivy Levy and principal Jamie Mack, along with several Parkway students, were all on hand for the presentation.
The Parkway Fall Festival was held Oct. 5 on school grounds.
