Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray recently presented an official Town of Hempstead citation in fitting recognition of the annual fall festival and craft fair at Meadowbrook Elementary School in East Meadow.
PTA Treasurer Elenu Faude, Reflections Chairperson Maria Viviano-Farry, Michele Aggasi, Fall Festival Chairperson Jenn Herdes, 1st vice president Allyson Benowitz, PTA co-president Lisa Petz, 2nd vice president Kelly Jones, vice president Kelly Jones, former PTA co-president Christine Finneran, Lorriane Hanrahan, former PTA co-president Jackie Lydon and Nicole Lagnese, along with children Jamie Bopp, Kenneth Farry, Nick Valenti, Gregory Farry, Dominic Lagnese, Vincent Lagnese, Julia Hanrahan, Nicole Lydon, Jessica Lydon and Gigi Lagnese, were all on hand for the presentation.
The PTA-run festival was held Sept. 21. All money raised benefits PTA-sponsored activities at the school, including Family Night, school beautification and any cultural arts functions. The Atlantis Touch Tank and Game Truck were featured for the first time this year.
