2013 East Meadow Continuing Education Course Schedule

Head back to the classroom and learn something new this fall.

Residents looking to get back into the classroom can check out the many course offerings the East Meadow Continuing Education program is offering this fall.

The "diversified education program" is sponsored by the East Meadow Board of Education. Classes include anything from Pilates and one-stroke painting to elder law, sleep wellness and life planning.

All courses are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dates to Remember
:

  • Mail-in registration is due Aug. 30
  • In-person registration takes place the week of Sept. 9 in Room H1 at East Meadow High School*
  • All classes begin the week of Sept. 23
  • Wednesday classes begin Oct. 2
  • SAT classes begin Jan. 14, 2014
*Please note that all classroom numbers on the first floor of EMHS were renumbered. The 400 wing is now the “H” Wing.

For the full catalog of offerings and fees, click here. East Meadow seniors aged 60 and over will receive a $5 tuition reduction on most courses, according to the course catalog.

Enrollees are expected to pay for all materials and textbooks.
