Long Island Reads: Sag Harbor by Colson Whitehead

The East Meadow Public Library hosts the Long Island Reads Selections for 2011 on Apr. 13 at 12:30 p.m. featuring Sag Harbor by Colson Whitehead.

Sag Harbor documents a young 15 year old boy who leaves his elite Manhattan school to spend three months out in Sag Habor, Long Island. He was one of the only black students in his class and he befriends many characters out in the Hamptons. The novel is thoughtful and humorous- a great read for all.
