LISELA 47th Annual SCIMEX Dinner

The Long Island Science Education Leadership Association (LISELA) invites you to the LISELA 47th Annual SCIMEX Dinner, to be held immediately following the free SCIMEX Exposition, at The Carltun in Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, on Oct. 20, at 5:45 p.m. The dinner will cost $30 per person.

James M. Cervino, Ph.D., Visiting Scientist from the prestigious Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts, will be the Keynote Speaker. Dr. Cervino will address the topic, "Climate change, global warning and toxic oil...will the oceans survive?" This timely discussion will also show how the BP oil leak compounds the impact of climate change and global warming, especially on the ocean's vital phytoplankton and zooplankton.

See the previous listing for details on the SCIMEX Exposition immediately preceding the dinner.
