Friends of EMPL present "Consumer Fraud and Cons - Seniors Beware!"

The Nassau County District Attorney's Office will be here to lead an interactive discussion on Senior Fraud.  Nearly 25 million Americans are victims of consumer fraud each year. Senior citizens continue to be a rapidly increasing segment of the population, and that makes them a prime target for con artists and thieves.  Studies have shown that senior citizens are more at risk to be targeted by telemarketing scams than other age groups. Please join us for this very important program at the East Meadow Public Library on Dec. 2 at 12:30 p.m.  Refreshments served.  Admission is free.  All are welcome.
