Free Skin Cancer Seminar

Senator Kemp Hannon is sponsoring a skin cancer seminar in conjunction with the Mollie Biggane Melanoma Foundation.

Biggane was a college sophomore when she was diagnosed with melanoma. In the six months following that diagnosis, she went through chemotherapy, radiation and surgeries, but was ultimately unable to survive. May is Melanoma Month and one in five Americans will develop skin cancer during his or her lifetime.

The foundation will be making a presentation and Dr. Peter O’Neill,  Chief of Dermatology at Winthrop University Hospital, will be the featured guest speaker.
