East Meadow School District Cancels February Vacation Due to Sandy

Students will be in classes the week of Feb. 18-22 to make up for days missed by the storm.

Students in the East Meadow School District will not have a February vacation due to missed days from Hurricane Sandy and the November Nor'easter.

A message was posted on the district's website on Friday, informing parents of calendar revisions. Students will now have classes on Tuesday, Feb. 19 to Friday Feb. 22.

Monday, June 24 and Tuesday June 25 will now be the superintendent's conference/staff development days.
